I would add that these commandments are good advice for anyone involved in public speaking -- in court, in community groups, in church, etc.

You should join Toastmasters. It is lots of fun and you really get to learn a lot. I just ran into one of my old Toastmasters friends and she was begging me to come back.
I liked it because it was the first time in my life someone actually wanted me to talk instead of trying to shut me up. Italians are that way, doncha know!
I've thought about joining Toastmasters. I may need to think on it some more!
